It has been a while.

A long time to be honest. It was a pretty rough time to be honest. But let's get away from this stuff and go to news about "Dark Resistance". 

First things first: YES I am still working on it and YES, I took a very long break.

The game looks pretty different from the first release. The characters has been reworked and I have decided to make them anthropomorphic. Like the Sonic the Hedgehog characters. And no: The characters are in no association with the Sonic the Hedgehog IP and universe. It's complete indipended.

That's the reason why everything takes so long. I need to redesign every character and every NPC, and also every enemy in the game. I am sorry, I cannot really show you anything special... well maybe a scene, where I added a shop theme: 

The main problem is still, that I work completly alone, so sorry for asset flipping. :P

I also have decided to NOT have a front view in battles. Which means, that you can actually see the characters in battle. There are some sprites ready for the battle, but not every character can be shown right now.

However, I really hope, that you will look forward for future updates. You can still play the demo with the old build, but I would not recommend it.
